Our approach
Languedoc-Maison is not a travel agent or a tour operator. It is an internet platform of homeowners who rent their home in France. If you book a reservation or send in an information request, your request arrives to a central point. We answer your question or in case of a reservation, make a double check on availability with the owner. In the case of a reservation we next ask you to confirm your reservation, and after we have received the confirmation, we send your information to the homeowner. The homeowner will send you the rental contract, the rental conditions and additional information. You pay directly to the homeowner. Most homeowners are from The Netherlands, Belgium and the UK. In the case of language difficulties between homeowner and lessee, Languedoc-Maison can assist.

 The Languedoc and the Ardèche are easily and quickly accessible

  • By car: You drive in 10-11 hours from Calais via the motorway A7 (Route du Soleil) to the Ardèche and via the motorway A9 further to the south in the direction of Spain.  Other routes to the Languedoc: Through Paris via the A75 to Clermont Ferrand and the highest bridge in the world at Millau to Montpellier. Through Paris via the A20 (Toulouse - 300km without toll!) and A61 to Carcassonne and Narbonne.
  • By high speed train: There are TGV stops in Agde, Arles, Béziers, Carcassonne, Montélimar, Montpellier, Narbonne, Nîmes, Perpignan, Sète, Valence. 
  • By plane: There are in airports in Béziers, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Narbonne, Avignon, Nîmes-Alès and Valence. Sometimes there are cheap flights by Ryan Air, Easyjet and Transavia.
